Well, this is not exactly a challenge limited to 30 days, but since the bootcamp I realized I really need to fix my slouching and cracking monotone voice. The forum is full of advice and exercices to do I am a bit lost, but I think I'll take small steps first, however any help is greatly welcome. 1- SLOUCHING: every day, practice standing tree pose for no less than 15 mins, including breathing and less thinking. Can anyone tell me if doing it against a wall truly helps to align the spine? 2- VOICE: not sure if I can do it every morning or day. Lets say ONCE every 2 days, go near the highway to my place and practice Alexander Method (I believe thats the name). Of course I warm up and work my way louder slowly. Oh and buy more milk and honey to help sooth my throat after... So that's about it, as said before, any tips and hints are appreciated.

Go Run.
Running increases your lung capacity. It also allows you to take deeper breaths without thinking, so that when you are in the club, you can push a LOT more air out without thinking about it. It also increases your energy.

You could look for book on body building. Look for one that shows you ideal shoulder posture, head/neck,spine and leg/thigh alignment. page 45-47 of Men's health better body blueprint. And how to correct these with exercise.
Also you need good co-ordination/flexibility to walk very smoothly. Read Alexander technique and share with us what you learned.
How to relaxed/rest your spine - Lie on your back with legs straight for about 10 min. Do not round your back.
How to stand straight - Stand tall and relaxed against the wall, feet shoulder width apart, butt and shoulder touching the wall. Look straight ahead with neck in natural comfortable posture. Stand for a min and walk a few steps forward then back to the wall.

I too have problems with my posture. The good thing is, like many things in life, it's only temporary. I learned from a fitness instructor friend of mine how to get into the proper posture in less than a minute. Put your hands in front of you, put your fingers together like your praying, then turn them out, like your cracking your knuckles. Do that while extending your arms out in front of you. You should see your arms extended, and your facing your knuckles. Then slowly raise it above your head, then look up at your knuckles, you should feel your back and neck straighten out. Now bring your hands down, and bring your head back. You should now be in the perfect body posture. I have been doing this excercise and it's helped allot. Also laying on your back on the floor is a great exercise also.

Yea, I go jogging, and I'm getting serious about learning to dance (with a female partner), I think they force you to keep good posture when moving.
Need to do squats too.

took me around a month to get that posture thing down too, I had to make a conscious effort. Also back workouts are good like Showtime mentioned it makes your muscles stronger and hold your posture into place better.

Its been about one week and I have to say my posture is improving slowly. The main visible problem was my neck with my head shooting out like a vulture. I fixed that by forcing my chin down, it felt uncomfortable at first, but it seems normal now. It also took away the pain I had around the shoulders, wow!
Still working on getting a stronger back, right now I can't stay in Lotus Position without rounding my spine like a deflated balloon... Also, I found that sitting for long hours practically destroys any progress I've made. I'm thinking of using something else than a chair.
As for projection exercises, I have to admit I'm disappointing myself. I try to sing under the shower and as Xavster suggested humm but nothing beats a good ol loud shout. Have to step up on it starting tomorrow.
