I feel like I speak for the rest of the ABCs team when I say:
I'd rather teach a complete newbie with an open mind, great attitude, self-motivation, and is humbly graceful RATHER than an expert with a jackass arrogant know-it-all attitude.
Keep in mind you're taking a bootcamp BECAUSE what you've used in the past DOESN'T WORK. The ABCs team is here to fix that, so if you come in with a closed mind and unwillingness to learn, then you're going to continue to do what DOESN'T WORK!
Will we push you? YES Will it be uncomfortable? YES Will it be fun? YES Will you learn and grow from this? DEPENDS ON YOUR ATTITUDE!
Change is a funny thing. We don't always believe in techniques or materials until we see concrete results. In this fantastic book I'm reading, it states-
"if you think about it, change isn't something that takes a long time. It happens in an instant. Maybe you used to be nervous in front of groups, and then you got up one day and found you weren't. You sat in front of the TV for years and then decided to take a walk or take up a sport instead. You made the time to go back to school, or put extra effort into that new career move. You may have worried over it for weeks, or months, or even years. Then you noticed it had changed." - NLP The new Technology of Achievement by the NLP Comprehensive Training Team.
A close business partner of mind said that when we see results, our mind INSTANTLY has to have a paradigm shift, or a new perspective because of the undeniable evidence.
Bottom line - In order to maximize your bootcamp experience, Change your mindset to what was mentioned earlier. Humble yourself and be willing to learn. We're here to help you and we want to help you, you've just got to put in the work and the mental attitude to help us help you.
To all you bootcampers and future bootcampers out there, please let it be known, spread the word and tell your buddies to check out this article.
To your success, BenJ
