Hi everyone! I liked to be called Disco Dave because I love dancing, and dancing is a brilliant seduction tool. I'm descended from Chinese ethnicity, and lived in Cambridge, England, and Ipswich, England. I speak with a Cambridge, England accent, am five feet ten inches tall, and have a medium body build from going to the gym and taking lots of dance classes.
From my experience, it seems that English and European women don't mind a less macho, more refined man compared to American women. I wear glasses with pride, and it seems women on this side of the Atlantic respect me for choosing to be a geek rather that a beefcake.
I am 32, have just finished university the second time, and had to move back in with my mum due to lack of money. A lot of university students I meet, of both sexes, are living with their parents due to lack of money, so there is less stigma with these living arrangements compared to before the economic recession since 2008. I plan to move out once I get a well-paying job.

Hey Dave, welcome to the forum!
My name is Ben, I'm one of JT's coaches with ABCs of Attraction. We're glad to have you here! For starters, check out the newbies section. There's a lot of questions you can ask and myself, JT, Sara, or Jay will be more than happy to answer your questions. We all use the ABCDEF system here, so familiarize yourself with it in the War Room. There's also a ridiculous number of blog posts and other useful information in there too, so dig in.
If you want to read some of the many adventures our alumni and students have - take a peek in the Field Reports section. If you happen to have an adventurous night out, feel free to share it with us. There's always someone online monitoring the forum for new posts and we'll try and get to them as soon as we can.
Hope you enjoy your stay here. I hear ya on the university student money crisis. I've been out of college for a year and I know a lot of my college friends aren't even using their degree and scouring for jobs. Hang in there!
Ben J

Thanks for the welcome, Ben!
The Internet is great, but only if it is used correctly. Pre-Internet days, it was so hard for Asian men to contact each other across the world, help each other with dating tips, and challenge negative Western media stereotypes. We (Asian men) still have a lot to do, but we are certainly moving in the right direction.
Onwards and upwards.
