Hi everyone, I'm 22 years old and I'm having trouble approaching and talking to women. So a lot of AA troubles. I've been looking into the Seduction Community for about 3 months. After doing a lot of searches and I've read The Game (I agree a little out of date but still a good read) I'm contemplating on whether I should go to one of the Bootcamps (Sydney).
I've seen some of the reviews and I really want to thrust myself into this transformation. As being an Asian, and what i've seen in the night game is that we really dont know how to talk to women, attract women.
In some ways we seem to defeat ourselves before even intiating and try.
Well I don't want that...

Welcome to the abc community,
As a sydney bc graduate, I can say that it is well worth it & all my fellow brothers have benefitted from it. If you see them at a gathering u wouldn't be concerned abt whether they can attract a girl but u would be more worried about taking first dips on a girl so she doesn't get owned by ur fellow brothers (mind u the bro code says that we should not have to compete with a fellow brother over the same girl because it is counter productive)
22 is a good age to be doing it because u'll be meeting heaps of single girls (thru uni, bdays etc) and u don't want to miss out because u didn't know how to get her! So get the skills now and leave the frustration behind you.

Welcome Kaida!
D3rek is correct to acknowledge your age as an advantage. You're fortunate to start this journey early on. I know people who made changes in their lives much later. Time is the one asset you'll never get back so utilize it!

Cheers Jester and Derek,
I always been looking in my future as pretty lonesome, and I thought my social life was already ending since being 22.
But hell you guys have energize me to really commit to making this change and never regretting it.

Check out the 30 Day Challengers Club sub-forum. You'll find plenty of short-term challenges you can use to improve yourself.
In general, I'd say eliminate all disqualifiers by addressing everything in your life such as: -Addiction problems (including smoking & drinking) -Weight problems (overweight or under, including eating disorders) -Cleanliness (both with hygiene and your living environment) -Health (work out, eat proper foods, etc.) -Finances (you'll have to be stable to sarge routinely) -Confidence (face your fears, take up an improv class, try things out of the ordinary)
You'll do fine. Just remember, this is a gradual process. Stick with it.

Welcome Kaida! Hope you join me in the Sydney Bootcamp next May! I know it's going to be a blast, but I need some time to build up my social skills, lower my AA, work on basic conversation, etc so that I have some basics to work with over the 3 days. Otherwise no matter how good the teachers are, if the students aren't on par, then they can't do anything about it.
I'm pretty much in the same situation with you and even about the same age (I'm 23 years old, Taiwanese and into the first year of med school) - though I'm probably making it harder for myself as I practically date white girls exclusively (or non-Asian girls, though I do prefer white girls. I'm not into Asian girls that much, which is fine, because they don't like me either, lol). I'm working on lowering my AA at the moment, but my problem is less of an anxiety issue (it is, but not as obstructive as the following) but rather of skill and experience. If you want me to go up to and approach a girl, give me an opener and so long as I don't slapped in the face or filed for sexual harassment, I'm down for it. Going beyond that and building comfort and attraction... well... not so good. Can't really hold my own just yet due to lack of experience in life in general =/. So you're probably in a slightly better position than I am.
Yeah, like you I really dislike the image of the Asian male out there and what they think of us. So I'm taking it upon myself to prove a point to date, maintain a long-term relationship, and end up marrying a white girl (which I want to do anyway, so no problem). Join us at the bootcamp next May (or if you want to do it earlier, you can go for the one in November).
So welcome to the community, Kaida! And it would be awesome to see you take that first important step, which is the bootcamp.

Alright I've place my deposit on the Bootcamp. And I'm feeling energize.
Been going through my pre-bootcamp stuff at work lol.
Can't wait, now to see if I can tackle some goals.
I've decided that tomorrow around lunch Im not gonna have it at work and sit alone at my desk and eat it. I'm gonna go out to some shopping center and see if I can do a couple of sets.
Look towards tomorrow for my first ever FR.

That's awesome news! See how many FR's you can post before bootcamp. Read as much as you can, practice and you'll feel that much better about it when those three days of training arrive!
Great choice!
