I think we should adopt what many other forums do by removing all members that have not made 5-10 posts within a certain number of days after signing up.
I'm getting annoyed all these stupid lurkers clicking FRs 500 times and not even replying.

But on a serious note, what makes you qualified? You're FRs are awful and sound more like lies! SCAM!!!

maybe they dont feel they have anything to contribute. a lot of your frs are at a relatively high level already. it's like a bunch of scientists getting together; one of them poses a question, and me trying to answer it with my chem101 knowledge. plus, i think a number of lurkers eventually become alumni. (i was one of them )

some forums i know do have such a minimal post per month system... but it usually resulted in a ton of one-liner posts... which makes reading the FR or Journals more difficult...

sometimes people are just shy. it's cool. they are just newbies trying to learn. it will help them with their Bootcamp decision.

Well, aside from being shy, do you ask for input? Because like a lot of things in life, the simplest and easiest way of getting the things you want start off by just asking.

hmmm...
from what I get from other forums, they require users to post to help make the forum more active. sometimes this place is quite dead.
i'm not expecting somebody that's just starting to write a post about how to get a Same Night foursome. but at least ask questions, because when I just got into this, I had a million questions. i still have questions now and I still ask.
of course, reading is good because many questions are answered with all this good stuff. but even with FRs, I'm sure some of these lurkers could at least thank them. I'm def not pointing towards my FRs because most of them arent that great, but when you have guys like Man Cannon who's writing about LRs almost every other day, at least these lurkers should be appreciative and perhaps ask questions regarding the LR. some of these lurkers go on the forum 10000 times more than i do, yet they still have 0 posts. you must wonder why???
it's not a big ask, just make a couple posts to make this forum more active. granted, we shouldnt become KJs, but I get paid browsing the internet and I take a million breaks so I might as well check it out. i dont even go on this site as much as a lurker, and I'm not the most knowledgable at this stuff but at least i make posts to contribute.
even a post with 3 lines talking about how they still struggle with AA and what they intend to do about it is better than them clicking straycat's FR 500times and making 0 posts.

Well there are not a lot of threads for the lurkers to respond to.
What have YOU done to contribute positively?
