So it's been almost 2 weeks since I attended the ABC's Toronto bootcamp and man, my brain is still trying to digest all the material!
I've known about 'game' for quite a while now, but have only started to put it to work recently. I stumbled upon JT and his teachings earlier this year and it immediately struck a chord with me. So why did I take the ABC bootcamp instead of any of 'the other guys'? Well, first and foremost, I like JT's holistic approach to pick-up and his focus on improving yourself before improving your game with women. I didn't really have too many limiting beliefs due to the fact that i'm asian, but I know these stereotypes exist and I figured it wouldn't hurt to learn pick-up from a fellow asian man.
If I could describe the bootcamp in one word, it would be: INTENSE! For 3 days and 2 nights we were pushed out of our comfort zone and literally overloaded with knowledge on being a pua. The bootcamp is great because it really does cater to all levels of pick-up skill. But I should note, you would be at a great advantage to know the basics and have your approach anxiety at a manageable level before entering the bootcamp. Think of it this way, if you only have a limited time with some PROFESSIONAL pick-up coaches, wouldn't it make sense to focus on more advanced learnings/techniques rather than spending the entire weekend learning how to approach? Put it this way, if I got to spend a weekend learning MMA from GSP, I wouldn't want to spend 2 of my 3 days learning how to jab.
JT, Tommy and the lovely Sarah are all awesome coaches. For the in-class portion, they are very clear about what you need to improve on in terms of body language, delivery of openers, tone of voice, etc. They are always willing to help and answer any questions you may have. In terms of the in-field portion, they are all great wingmen (and wingwoman). I had the pleasure of being in set with JT and I'll tell you, the man has a gift with women. He embodies everything he teaches. He truly is the bootcamp general. If he was an American Idol judge, he would definitely be Simon Cowell! He doesn't always have nice things to say about you, but you know he's telling you the truth and you respect him for that. JT will push you beyond your limits, not because he's mean, but because he sees the potential inside you. Sarah is great at winging (see: disarming) any obstacles or grenades in set. She's also very good at keeping you motivated and providing you with in-field advice. Tommy is a former student, so he's easy to relate to. He knows what it's like to be in a bootcamp and he is always willing to offer advice and push you. Dude also has tight game. I remember him opening an HB9 blonde chick after the club when she was already IN her car. You better believe she rolled down her window for him!
The bootcamp is truly a huge learning experience. I've read that taking a bootcamp will shave about 6 months off of your PUA learning curve and I totally agree. There's no amount of reading (see: keyboard jocking) that can replace 3 days and 2 nights of coaching from JT and crew. They will break you down and build you back up. In just a few days, I learned about the various holes in my game, some inner game issues I need to deal with and that approaching and meeting girls is actually FUN. Let's not forget the amazing new wingmen you meet at the bootcamp.
JT and his team really do have a passion for helping people. I remember trying to scour the internet for bad reviews on an ABC bootcamp, but they're really hard to find..and for a good reason! For those of you who are having doubts, don't. If you are really serious about improving your game with women and being an overall better MAN, then stop being a wussy (with a p) and pull the gaddamn trigger already!
Come join the revolution of men who are working to build a new blueprint for Asian men around the world. Become the man you were always destined to be!
We're doing big things up here in Canada. We can't wait to show you!
