Where: San Francisco!
When: June, 2 nights and 3 days
My Background: Started approaching in Early May of this year. Shortly after, I took Mike's Day Game(
reviews-testimonials-f42/san-francisco-day-game-workshop-with-mike-smooth-t5740.html ). Previous to this night, I had gone out a total of less than 5 times at night, approaching between 1-8 sets a night(usually 1-4) with just about no structure. Sort of shooting aimlessly.
My Favorite Parts: --Going into the first night with a war-zone feeling, leaving the second night comfortable with exactly who I am.
--Learning, at a deep level, the ABCs structure. The structure, I realized, is a great guideline as I progress.
The Most Exciting Part of It All: --By the end of the second night, I was going after what I wanted directly. Seeing a girl walk by in a club and just going for it and not even thinking about the outcome. This was something I'd wanted to achieve for a while now.
The Lecture:
--Gareth and the other instructors tried to cover as much information as possible, answered all questions.
The Material:
--I was a little at shock at how much material there was in both print and lecture. You definitely get your money's worth.
The In-Class Work:
--This was good. It cemented some of the important items in the lecture so that we had them more accessible in our brains when in-field.
The In-Field:
--Really thrilling stuff. Goals are given every night, this was helpful in forcing me to try new things and also as a motivator.
The instructors:
In General: - They were all great examples themselves, each unique of another. Definitely wanted to help us out, answered questions whenever I had one in a way that quickly made sense to me.
Gareth: - Held most of the lectures. Laid back, direct, knew the material inside and out so the lectures were pretty smooth. I didn't get a chance to work with him during the infield.
Mike Smooth: - Good eye for talent, very helpful with my questions. I unfortunately didn't get to work with him too much in-field. But when I did, he pushed me out of my comfort zone which was great!
Ozzie: - I happened to work with him the most in-field. He was absolutely AWESOME! Both nights he had me approach rapid fire and I learned a lot from his feedback.
Sarah Ann: -- Super duper focused on the students' success, Super duper fun. Her feedback and motivation was useful and right on.
