Background:
I’m a 41 year old, Asian Male, moderately successful, live in Canada and I’ve been in “The Game” for about 1 year now. I don’t do night clubs much since I think most people tend to leave that behind by the time they are 30 and I don’t have any friends that go there anymore.
Back in my early to mid 20’s I used to be very unsuccessful in night clubs and I did read up on all the conventional books you find in book stores (which helped doing pick up in classrooms, telephone personals ads (before online dating) and social circle). Back around the year 2000 I found out about Speed Seduction (SS) and spent 2 years on it but with very little success since the system seems like it can only be used in comfort. Back then the newsgroups were full of flame wars and all sorts of useless inputs by keyboard jockeys. Around the year 2003 --- a guy called Mystery started posting some good stuff but being disillusioned – I had already given up SS and decided to focus on business instead.
About 1 year ago I decided to get back in “The Game” and found it has advanced significantly and bought a bunch of material from Mystery and some other companies and studied along the way and found it has helped me a lot. I found abcsofattraction.com and decided to take a boot camp.
Review of Instructors:
Tommy:
- very enthusiastic and always has his cell ready and quick to answer your calls and texts. Great at logistics
- Really good at things to say at the spot. Example: I like Cajun’s do I look like a drug dealer thing and occasionally the girls say “Yes” so I was stuck. I think Tommy fixed that. I’ll give a try the time I do it. Good at “come backs”.
- Very good verbal skills
- He took a lot of pictures (which helped add fuel to the fire once we were in set). I hope I can get a hold of those pictures…they would serve as a great souvenirs and DHV item on your cell phone.
JT:
- Will give you brutally honest opinions about you that nobody else will tell you. This could save your game.
- Very good fashion advice
- Good observational skills. If he tells you to open a set and what to say --- I didn’t think about it and just did it and they opened. On my shittiest night JT had me open a tall blonde by telling her she was the tallest and prettiest and it worked. I got her into isolation but I started losing her. I think JT and/or Tommy might have helped keep her by me for a while longer (excellent winging). As I said: It was the worst night for me and the girls were bitchy but they seemed to do an excellent job keeping the girls in with the students and demonstrating they can hold a bitchy girl in.
- Very dominant commanding figure who is on your side.
Sara:
- Excellent advice, tells honestly what a girl would be thinking, calls it like it is
- Good wing girl and also a better coach
- Good practice target for a drills and gives great feedback on your approach. She will call you out on certain things nobody else would. In our exercise where you open a girl from behind she would point out things like your didn’t have eye contact while your turned around or if your standing position looks kinda gay etc.
- She’ll go in to the field and observe you and see how you are in the field and give honest feedback afterwards as well.
As for All 3:
- If you do everything they tell you without thinking about it – you will not be scared (no approach anxiety – you are simply taking orders).
- If I had to do it all over again --- I absolutely would.
The Lectures/Content:
- The presentation slides have good stuff and the presentation contains things that aren’t in the printed manual that are good. The presentation goes by pretty fast so get ready to write fast.
- The manual contains tons of stuff --- it’ll take you a while to get through it all Much of the stuff not mentioned in the presentation itself.
The Night Venues
- Day 1: fairly easy going. I like the fact there are noisy spots and there are quiet spots where you can talk. I haven’t opened as many girls in a long time. Kissed/number closed on a girl.
- Day 2: Saturday high octane intense night club with bitchy girls. I would open a set but they would close just as fast and only isolated 1 really tall girl JT sent me in on. That was the best girl of my night
- Day 3: Graduation Night: Better than day2. This night we get to AMOG each other and be AMOGed by students.
All venues were high intensity and a good experience.
OVERALL NOTES:
1) I hope we can get access to some photos Tommy took. They would serve as great reminders and get us into “state” the next time we go out. They would also serve as great DHV pics on your i-phone.
2) If you are not in the USA (or where ever the boot camp is held) and you go there – then just the trip itself can formulate a DHV story and you will improve yourself as being “well-travelled”.
3) Even if you have studied other PUA company’s material --- that material can “snap” into and fit with the ABC model. Even if you are a big Mystery fan like I am – you can use this ABC material together and become more powerful.
4) Do your homework, get your inner game straight, get rid of your approach anxiety and do as much as you can to improve yourself by taking courses in interesting things you normally would not do. Do this all BEFORE you go to boot camp.
5) I wish I had this when was in my 20’s – it would have saved me a lot of time. They should call this Night-Club 101.
6) The price is fair. Realize that when you take a course with Asian instructors like JT, Kevin, Johnny, William and Tommy that to these guys --- it is NOT about money. Some of these guys probably left high paying jobs to help you out. Sara is a wonderful wing-girl and helps you out a lot in the field and off. Most other companies just have female models to pose for their seminars…Sara will actually be in the field with you as well!
7) Good Instructor to Student ratio.
