I attended the May 7th-8th day game workshop with Mike Smooth.
My Background: I'm new to the game. I had no specific expectations from this before going in and I've never taken a workshop or bootcamp previously. I took the workshop primarily because I was frustrated at my previous attempts at day game(several hours of walking around with almost no approaching) and wanted to get some help getting into it. Before the workshop, I had done a total of 2 approaches ever. Brand new to the game.
My Favorite Parts:
--A lot of properly calibrated motivation by Mike to approach, but no pressure to do so. This was very helpful, I ended up approaching more than I could count.
--My AA dropped from a level of 7 or 8 to a 3 or 4, I was approaching at will by the end of the workshop when I saw a girl I liked.
The Most Exciting Parts of It All:
--Realizing I can have attractive conversations with attractive girls plus having fun and learning a lot about people all at the same time. Its really breath taking.
--I got 2 free cups of coffee

1 paid for by the girl on an instant date, the other was on-the-house while on a second instant date.
Other Successes:
--I really didn't count the approaches, our goal was 10 a day for me but I think we exceeded that both days. This will defer largely person to person I'm sure depending on your mood and experience. Once I got the hang of it, most sets hooked/stuck pretty well.
--I went on 2 instant dates, one of which I found out had some attractive qualities, besides her looks, about her after talking and I look forward to setting up a date 2 with her.
About Mike Smooth:
--He worked really hard to help me out. It felt like I was just hanging out with a friend, but a friend who knows a lot about daygame and wants to share and make sure I learn it well.
--He was patient and funny, it made the whole experience light-hearted and fun (he took some pictures and I wish I wrote down some of his funny sayings -- hahah)
--Properly debriefed me on both days, directly identified what to improve
I probably missed some things in the review, so if anyone is interested in the workshop and wants to know more of my thoughts on the experience that you think would be better answered by a student than an ABCs instructor, I'd be happy to share(just reply to this post with the question).
Lastly, my thanks go to Mike. I felt different after each day and now continuously feel much more at ease, at home, and excited to meet people when out and about.
