NYC Bootcamp Review 6/13-15

I took the NY bootcamp on June 13-15 with Johnny Wolf, Man Cannon and Saffron.

Day 1

I don’t know about you guys when you took your bootcamps, but I was nervous and had AA just showing up to the first meeting. Haha, I’m proud that I didn’t “lurk” outside the building before walking in.

But anyways, we did our introductions, had our first lessons and headed to the venue. I was paired with Leo and our coach was Man Cannon the first night. Man Cannon started telling us which sets to approach from the moment we went in. I opened 5 sets within the first 30 minutes, some went well, some didn’t. I was so focused on my openers that it didn’t even phase me when I got blown out. My issue has always been my fear of rejection, and that wasn’t an issue at all this night.

We moved towards a different part of the venue and Man Cannon had me open more sets. I ended up speaking with a 40+ Asian woman for a little bit, the set went well, she was interested in me, but I ejected myself because I wasn’t interested in her. Man Cannon told me to just keep talking and see how long I can continue the set just for practice. We weren’t here to find the girls of our dreams.

Man Cannon then told me to approach this girl sitting by herself in the corner. I walk up to her and sit down.

Two Fingahz: You’re not here by yourself are you?
HB: Do I look like someone who would be here by herself?
Two Fingahz: Well, you look like you need a friend.

Then continued with my opener and we began talking. Her two friends came back with her drink, I introduced myself and they said they were going to the bar to get some cocktails and left the two of us alone. Sweet! We began talking more, some kino, BT spikes, comfort thrown in. Her friends came back, but sat at another table away from us, where my fellow students would later come in and game them. She wanted to go smoke, so I told her I’d go outside with her. We talked a little bit more outside (this is where Direct game would’ve been useful). After a bit of fresh air, we came back and found one of her friends sitting by herself. At this point, this set must’ve lasted for 30 minutes, so I left her with her friend, got her number and left. Only problem was, I forgot her name! Doh! She got my number also, but I bet she didn’t remember my name either. Oh well, it was a good set and I’ll learn. On another note, I remembered going back to the topic of my opener several times when I ran out of things to say, I need to work on this.

Found Man Cannon, after a couple of sets that didn’t hook, he told me to go AMOG this guy, I find out later he will be taking a bootcamp in August. I go in to the set, ignore him and just start with my opener. We started talking and all he could do was just sit there and listen to our conversation. Eventually, he left and I seated myself between her and her friend, who my buddy Leo was talking to. I loved it when the two friends tried talking to one another and Leo would just interrupt with a random topic. My target left to go get a drink, I went to open another set unsuccessfully and reopened her again when she came back. I don’t remember why the set ended, but I remember it was good conversation. No number close unfortunately.

Then there were these two Asian girls, that Man Cannon had me and Leo open, the set hooked, I tried getting into deep comfort by asking her what her passions were, what she really wanted to do in life and she mentions being a wedding dress designer. Much more exciting than her current job of accounting. Set goes well, she’s showing a lot of interest. The dance floor upstairs opens, so we mini bounce upstairs. At this point, somehow Leo and I switch targets, not sure exactly how that happened, but oh well. Their friends would eventually take them away from us. That’s alright. Next!

Opened more sets around the venue, none really hooked for too long. I found Love Guru aka Asian Cassanova on the dance floor with 3 Asian chicks. He brings me into the set, and I go back and forth between the two taller girls. Set goes well, Love Guru is just a ball of fire, brings so much energy to the group. Almost messed up the set, when they asked how we knew each other and we gave different stories. Haha. We’ll have to work on that, but it didn’t matter at that point. The girls leave to go get drinks and Man Cannon shows up to tell us to open more sets. There was a set outside on the patio, I opened unsuccessfully, I look over at Love Guru, leaning up against the entrance like he was James Dean with this cool and calm demeanor he says to me “Let me try.” He went in, they were being bitches like they were to me, but he stood his ground, controlled his frame and was able to get the set to hook. I can’t say enough about Love Guru, he made the biggest leaps and bounds out of everyone who took the boot camp that weekend.

It was about time to go and Man Cannon told us to meet downstairs, but not before he sent me into one more set. It was a 2 set, and one of them was trying to blow me out completely, but I just ignored her and kept plowing. I switched my focus to her friend, and the original girl said “Are you going to talk or are you going to dance?” I started dancing with her, we kind of stumbled a bit in the small space, she laughed and said “Nice try.” She was laughing a lot, kinoing me a lot, but it was time to go, so I ejected.

While walking through the dance floor, I found the tall Asian girls again and re-approached them. I only remembered one of their names, so she was the one I tried to number close. It took a little while, we had gone to the same school, and she kept asking me questions to see if I was lying or not. Bad move on my part, because I was jumping right through her hoops for every question she asked. I was able to finally get the number, I almost didn’t want it at that point. Love Guru would tell me later, she was the girl he wanted to number closed. Sorry bro!

We got back to our meeting spot and got debriefed. A lot of the guys didn’t even want to leave the venue, they were having so much fun! Overall, I was proud of myself, I opened close to 20 sets, got 2 numbers and 2 mini bounces. Man Cannon called me out and hit it right on the head when he said, “I’m guessing you haven’t opened many girls before tonight.” I opened more girls that night than I had in my entire life! We ended the night on a high note and I was ready for the second day!

Day 2

I was excited about this day as JW, MC and Saffron taught us Comfort and Direct game. In the previous night, I spent so much time trying to build attraction and buying temperature, I got really bored asking girls the same questions over and over.

Tonight it was about getting right to the point and going directly to Comfort. Man Cannon said it would probably be best for myself and Ravenxkr0w to mix it up with indirect and direct openers, since we may look a little intimidating for some girls. (Sorry MC, but every set I opened was Direct that night.)

After settling in the venue at our VIP tables, I was feeling AA that night big time. I was probably the last student to open a set; Man Cannon pulled me aside had me talk about surfing with him for a few seconds and then told me to open a set on the dance floor. I opened; it went OK, talked to her for a bit until her friend grabbed her to dance. Not a bad start.

As the night went on, I opened a few girls trying to get them back to our table. I was able to bring two sets back. One of which, I spilled my drink on. Haha! I actually spilled drinks on two girls that night! If you want any chance with a set, I suggest that you keep your drink steady.

While hanging around our table, I see an HBBlonde standing there and do a direct opener. Set hooks, we’re having good conversation, a lot of kino, high fives and tipping of glasses. I told her to sit down, but she declined because her friends were still standing, eventually I decided to sit down and she followed. I was able to steer the conversation to something she was really passionate about and I just ran with it. I mixed in some comfort and direct interest in there also. In the middle of the conversation, I number closed her by having her put my number in her phone first and using Johnny Wolf’s technique to get her name, because you know I forgot. She realized that her friends had been gone for a good 10 minutes and went to go find them. I told her to just come find me later and we kissed each other on the cheek. She saw one of her friends nearby, whom I don’t think was someone she came with, and gave her a kiss on the lips. I said to her, “How about one for me,” and she kissed me on the lips with no hesitation. If the night had ended there, I would’ve been satisfied.

Shortly after I joined a set that Ravenxkr0w had opened. I talk to HBLongIsland and we hit it off. I tease her Long Island accent a little bit and use some DHV and comfort stories. Ravenxkr0w decides to play the Fuck/Marry/Kill game and she is hooked! She was telling Raven that she’s a killer tonight. But then looks at me, grabs my face and says, “I’d shag him!” BIG IOI and I had no idea how to respond! At some point, I ask if she wants to get a drink, she says she already has one, so I go grab one for myself. When I come back I see that Leo had taken her with Raven and her friend to the dance floor. Haha, serves me right! I wanted to go AMOG Leo to get her back, but I left them alone to see what he could do with her. He was able to get her e-mail, good job buddy! Unfortunately, I never saw her again that night.

HBBlonde shows up again and I reopen her. Not much even needed to be said at this point because it was ON! We started dancing, I sat down on the railing and had her grind on me when we weren’t making out. While she was grinding on me, I decided to slide my hand up her skirt and down her panties. She pulled my hand away, but never stopped dancing. I went for it again, and the TWO FINGERS on my left hand started to work its magic. After about a minute, she pulled my hand away again and we started making out again. She was getting really sloppy and drunk at this point so I took her to go find her friends. We couldn’t even make it halfway through the dance floor without her stumbling all over the place, so I picked her up and set her on a little stage. She wrapped her legs tightly around me and we started making out again. I look at her and told her we need to get her to her friends. We found one of them and I dropped her off. She was pretty horny, maybe some guy got lucky that night! I saw another one of her friends at our table and told her that HBBlonde was drunk and she should go find her. She never left though; she was too infatuated by Johnny Wolf!

The night ended and we headed back to our meeting place. Two of the guys didn’t want to leave! We debriefed and Johnny Wolf gave me one of the greatest compliments saying I was the only guy in that club that he was jealous of! It was a great night for all of us, we all number closed and a few of us got kiss closes.

Overall it was a hard night, I had major AA early, was blown out by half the sets I opened, spilled drinks on 2 girls, got drunk, but in the end I was able to pull off the Two Fingah close!

Two Fingahz-

Guys like Showtime don't even do indirect openers anymore. I personally haven't done any opinion openers for the longest time. Especially here in China when I game Eastern European girls, there's no way I can do opinion openers cause they can't even understand half the shit I say. Chinese girls think it's creepy with opinion openers.

Yes spilling drinks suck, I learned the hard way. I couldve made out with this hot blondie 2 weeks ago had I not spilled my drink on her. Instead, some chode got her but that night I banged a hot bitch so I don't care.

Day 3

Final day. It was a rough day for me, I was hung over that morning and felt sick all day. We were down one man because Love Guru had to take his flight back. His energy was missed.

The venue was very odd. We arrive at this rooftop bar and everyone was wearing hooded red robes. It was like we walked into a scene of Eyes Wide Shut.

I opened two sets early that night, a two set of girls from Kazakhstan and a 5 set of 3 Swedish girls, a Korean girl and some farmer guy who aspires to be a rock star.

Very low energy night, I was able to stay in each set for quite some time. Direct interests didn’t go too well as these girls were a little more reserved and I sensed their body language changing every time I tried. I was able to number close in each set. But one thing I noticed was that in both sets, the conversations went EXACTLY the same. Man Cannon was proud that I was able to control the interaction. If I continue this and work on my DHV stories, I should be able to do this in my sleep.

We debriefed at the end of the night. Saffron, Man Cannon and Johnny Wolf gave me some promising words. They told me the things I needed to work on, but said I was headed in the right path.

After we left our meeting spot, the 5 remaining students were outside talking for about 30 minutes. There was such a bond between all of us, we didn’t want this experience to end.

Post boot camp. I have been so keen to watching social interactions between men and women, either in person or on television. I automatically break down their actions, their body language and their words in accordance with the ABCs of Attraction model.

For the next few days after the boot camp, I dreamt about pick up. I had nightmares of the coaches telling me to go open more sets.

My world has changed around me. I find myself walking with better posture and more confidence. Even my everyday interactions with people at work has improved. I feel more respected by my peers.

For anyone who has contemplated about doing a boot camp, all I can say is SIGN UP NOW!! If you were to teach yourself, it may take years to get to the level of guys who spend just one weekend attending a boot camp. ABCs of Attractions provide you with quality instructors who genuinely care about you. You’ll also meet fellow students who share common interests and goals that you eventually call your friends. I will NEVER regret this experience.

I just want to thank Johnny Wolf, Man Cannon and Saffron for pushing me and showing me what is possible. I also want to thank APB for starting this whole thing and giving guys out there another chance at life.

Great meeting you last weekend. You already started off the bootcamp with a lot of passive value and personal experience under your belt, so your bar of expectation is pretty high. I'd like to see you move forward in the game comparing your performance and gaming skills to the person that you were yesterday, last week, or last year. Compare yourself against your own self, and move your skills forward iteratively from there.
