Hey, guys:
This is the TORNADO! Coming straight at you from OKC!
So, I just got done with the LA bootcamp last week where I pulled a double lay with Alpha M. It was insane! So, I thought I would put up a review of the bootcamp.

Day1:
Seminar started at about 4pm on Friday. We all met up at Project Forbidden City. It was me (Tornado), Alpha M, Graphite, Brown Brownie, and Joe. Each student gave a brief bio and talked about our goals for the boot camp.
And then we met the instructors. This part is really inspiring! I mean APB, Johnny and Ozzie are cool guys, but they are not good looking by the standard of American society. APB is short, Johnny is chubby, and ozzie is short. But these guys are getting the girls. So, in my mind, if these guys can get good at the game, then surely I can do it and for that matter, any Asian brother out there.

Johnny started the seminar by breaking down the ABC of attraction. There are 6 stages, A(approach & attract), B(buying temperature), C(comfort and connect), D(direct interest), E(escalate), F(fun). We started out by working with our openers. We practiced the Ken and Barbie and I love you opener. We worked on our delivery, tonality, and facial expression. We also worked on conveying emotions through our voice and facial expression.
Johnny also went over Buying temperature. One thing I particularly like was misinterpretation. This would help me later on.

The 1st day was just a lot of drills on the fundamental of the ABC model.
We also worked on our Natural opener, which I really like. Because so many of the openers out there are played out, it’s important to come up with your opener. Pretty much, I just find an interesting event in your own life. For example, I always wanted to go up all the way to the Hollywood sign. My opener was “hey do you guys know of any way you can go up to the Hollywood sing?” And then I follow it with a humorous story. The instructors gave me feedback and made it better.

After 4 hours of exercise, we head out to a trendy club. I opened these 2 Asian girls and immediately got blown out. What an awesome start to my night! So right away, I approach a guy and a girl standing next to me. They were really friendly, I used my naturally opener and we talked for 10 minutes. I then walked away and talked to some more girls.
This is the highlight of the night. Myself and Graphite opened a 3 set at the same time. It was an accident. Right away, the girls were yelling “did you guys just split the set?” Apparently they have been watching the PickUpArtist. HBbrunette was shit testing left and right. And then she asked if me and Graphite are best friends. This was my chance to turn the interaction around using MisInterpretation! So I said “hey are you saying all asian people look alike? What are you going to do next? Make fun of my eyes.” This got her laughing, she started apologizing and offered to shake my hand, in another word, her BT was up. So, at this stage, I need to go into comfort and connect, but we haven’t worked on C yet. So I lost her, but it was an interesting experience in applying the tools of ABC.
And then I talked to HBblonde and HBJapanese. I tried to get Graphite to wing for me. The subject turned to HBblonde’s nationality. We tried to guess, but the more we tried, the more she got offended. It wasn’t going in the right direction. And then I heard Johnny’s voice from the lecture “be flexible.” So, I stopped guessing and showed genuine interest. I asked HBblonde where she was from, Bulgaria. I then mentioned there are lot of Bulgarians in Chicago, I was there this past summer. She said something about New York. We then started talking about New York. The interaction turned out well.

So to sum up day1:

The Good:
It was an inspiration meeting the APB, Johnny & Ozzie
Awesome exercise on voice, tonality, facial expression, story telling
Coming up with Natural opener
Venue is excellent

Bad:
Brown Brownie had huge approach anxiety, it was a shock for him to go into a night venue and approach. I wasn’t sure if he got a phones consultation beforehand.

Ugly:
Thanks to VH1 and the PickUpArtist, you’ll be shit tested for being a PUA a lot in LA
