A bit of background: Last year summer I took a bootcamp by Vin Dicarlo's Diclassified company in London, the bootcamp cost 2000 pounds ($3000 usd), and was honestly just bullshit. We went out two nights over the weekend with barely 2-3 hours of teaching time per day, the instructor known as Brian didn't even open any sets, basically he had tall white game, we didn't even go anywhere nice. I asked my money back and thank god they actually gave the money back. So this year after much thought ( in fact it took me two years to admit I need help and take the vin dicarlo workshop, I had spent a year approaching, sarging, going nowhere , and given up on the whole thing finally I hear Asian Playboy was coming to London, and I thought ah well I'll give this pickup thing one last try)
I am going to make this review as honest as possible. I have decided against posting too much in detail of what went on, as each student had their own individual struggles/experience, and I would rather not discuss the people who have taken the bootcamp, but rather Asian Playboy himself.
I think I was surprised when I did meet him, he was honest about the situation surrounding asian men, about pick-up, the game and everything. There was no sign of the bullshit that surrounds most white or even asian pick-up artists, and really really get this...JT is far far from a good looking tall guy, he isn't even good looking by asian standards (sorry JT take one for the team).
You honestly would not believe this guy had any game....until you see him in action. If anyone wants to see how far can an asian man push his game, you want to see JT, before he retires or gets wrinkly and old. I am not fucking kidding. I lost count how many times during the workshop JT successfully opening sets/lone wolves that I thought were impossible. Basically the tall hot blondes that would shit on most asian guys. Several times JT would walk up and stop a towering beauty (or a bunch of them) in their tracks, smoothly sit down and command them to sit next to him, and they would just sit down and not leave. I have never seen anything like that, not even with tall white boys. What impressed me the most was that JT was seemingly unfazed at any rejection and carried on. JT charms the bouncers, and anyone that gets in his way. The chicks were genuinely entertained and attracted to JT, everyone in the club was jealous. I can't stress how surreal it is to see a 5'6 asian guy go into London's hottest most (uptight clubs) and charming the hotties. You have to see it to believe it.
I want to stress that despite all my praise, JT is just as human (and asian!) as anyone i've ever met, the only difference is this guy has loads of game and experience, he could not be further than most puas who use the tall white natural game. He also teaches both indirect and direct which is cool. He teaches great routines, simple easy to use techniques and a pretty comprehensive structure to pickup (as comprehensive it can be for three days of afternoon tuition)
I won't lie about the bootcamp. It could have been a better experience. I think the volcanic ash situation means less people were out in London. I felt JT could have done much better with another instructor to wing him (I guess it was down to the amount of people wanting to take the bootcamp), the venues could have been better organized, but we had a decent amount of sets between all nights, and JT genuinely cared about whether we got to the good venues (using the help of one of the local students), unlike the Vin Dicarlo program, which screwed up on the venues badly. I also would have liked JT to have pushed the students more, I think sometimes some of us just need an ass kicking, but those are the only things I can think of.
I think we all had a great time (send me the photos from your camera JT!). JT's techniques work period. If you are looking for a bootcamp where you can see the impossible happen, this is the bootcamp to take. I think guys in the community should know now there is no magic pill, this boot camp isn't one either, it will outline your sticking points and give you experience but it won't solve your problems instantly, but I would say its probably the closest you can get to learning a defined system, that's empirically proven to work, because a short asian man uses it and against all odds get and attract women.
As for choosing between abcs of attraction, and some other reputable tall white man bootcamp? Don't even think about it. Choose ABCs.
