I signed up for the July bootcamp in DC. I thought I start a thread for questions, feedback, etc.
I just found out about ABCs of Attraction last week. Before then, I did not know anything about our community. It is almost like when Harry Potter found out he was a wizard. A whole different world opened up to me. I watched some random videos on Youtube and tried something last night when I gone out (Not quite effective).
OK, enough about myself.
Here is a question: when will we find out the actual location of the bootcamp?

Bumping my own post. I know.
I was wondering what pit falls I should avoid before the boot-camp. You see, I am pretty psyched about this. So within last week, I spent 100 hours between watching youtube videos by various gurus, reading the Mystery Method and going out to practice this new stuff I learned.
However, I am aware that I could pick up bad habits, irreversible bad habits without even knowing and totally screw up everything down the road. What should I do to avoid well known pit falls?
Thanks
V.P.

Just do the homework and you will do fine. I would advise you to go with a few friends to nightclubs and get used to the pressure environment and maybe even try to chat up a few girls in the club.
All those things will lower your AA and your panic attack when you get thrown into the sea on Friday BC.
Dont get too emotional about it, simply see it as a class/lesson. You wouldnt go crazy about it, if it were an IT class, right? Do your homework, dont get rattled.

Hey man, I agree with the above post too. It really helps if you get rid of that initial AA and learn to think faster when you are talking to someone. You mind becomes more relaxed when you learn to be in the moment and it gives you more freedom to think about other things.
I don't know where you're at but I've been meeting up with a few wings around Northern Virginia to practice this stuff.
Just PM me if you're ever interested in meeting up.
P.S I also signed up for DC in July! See you there.

To that I'd say nothing. It's my firm belief that we all experience necessary mistakes to learn the lessons from them.
I'd say toss all questions aside that involve bypassing those lessons and just face your fear of failure with open eyes because you will experience failure at one stage or another. We all do.
You're fine reading material, but unless you're impeccable at retaining info that way, I'd say combine it with other exercises in the field. Get a feel for rejection and see if you can brush it off. It will help you go after a new set each time one ends during bootcamp and you'll yield much higher results.
Before anyone in the community can tell you what to avoid doing, including the mPUA's, you yourself must go out and gauge your sticking points from approaches and conversations with complete strangers. Whether you do that now or wait until the first night of bootcamp (when they're there to critique you) is your call.

I found out the location where they'd be teaching the curriculum portion of the bootcamp immediately after signing up. I found out what in-field venues we'd be practicing at on the night of each event, immediately after class.

Have not checked my thread for weeks. LOL.
What I've done so far: 1) lost 25 lbs in a month. 2) learning to Salsa dance.
Although I got lucky 3 weeks back, but I feel like my game is stuck and not improving.

Maybe because I signed up for the early bird deal, no location info was provided. Anyone with updated details please pm me.
Thanks in advance.

I'm singed up for the Washington D.C boot camp too
I signed up as early bird too but I think it's not something to do with not giving location
Location will show up at the page that you bought the ticket (There is location part. I think it's not specifically chosen yet)
Where are you live guys? Are you live around the D.C
I kinda need wing man to go out I want to try some approaches before the boot camp

I live in Woodbridge, Va. So Entropy and I were thinking about getting a hotel room near the bootcamp location, so we don't have to drive back every night.
If you live in dc, don't you go out 3-4 nights a weeks? Do you use meetup.com? There is a 20-30 going out group and they are hosting a club night at Josephine's next Friday night. If you are interested, we can go from there.

I have never been to club in America before
My friends are all asian and they can't speak English well so they didn't want to go Night Club with full of English Speakers
I think it's good idea to go out next friday
I want to at least remove AA little bit before the boot camp
I live in Oakton VA but the thing is i'm not over 21 and Josephine is 21 over night club
so i think it's better to go 18+ clubs like Ultrabar or Fur Night club
