PreBootcamp Text Gaming and date - want your thoughts

So, in anticipation of my bootcamp, I've been trying random acts of pickup with the goal of minimizing my AA. I have never been a huge Facebook guy, but hell, I'm newly single and realize the power it has to connect with people...especially when it comes to gaming.

A couple of weeks ago, I do a FB version of direct opener with, "I love your profile pic, you look incredible!" it was a friend of a friend that I have had not talked to since high school many moons ago. She is a cute filipina-American with a great rack and tight little body. We start messaging eachother and I start noticing she was sending out IOIs about my career and how brave I was to leave an 11 year relationship.
I start to throw out more sexual comments but nothing too overt...giving eachother massages, "having fun" together, etc. So after about a week, I tell her tha we should meet up. We set up the date originally for this weekend but she had to cancel. We rescheduled for a Sunday night, her only free day, and I txt her, "you owe me" now, as my time is valuable.

I didn't know how she'd take that comment but she played along. So, date is set, so here's the issues:

- we haven't talked yet on the phone...we've txt for about 2 weeks and I've been crazy busy with work and other shit that I haven't called her. Seems like it's kinda weird now to call...what should I be saying?

- I txted her with a situational question yesterday re: flirting with clients at work to get accounts, and I don't think it went over well. (fuck it, I wanted to try). How do I recover to re-engage her?

- 1st date since my breakup: we r set to meet up so, this being prebootcamp (Sept2011 LA), I am not sure what to do...excePt be my natural self. I do want to use this date as an opportunity go train (pretrain) for my bootcamp. Should I try to do ABCs stuff or just "be myself"

I put this out to the community...what do u think?

Just a heads up: Facebook and social networking sites are a double-edged sword. I know you're a smart guy, but just be careful about using FB for sarging since women you add can easily detect the scent of a player (assuming you're in this to have fun). It can be fun to socialize on there, but status updates, comments and photos can hurt more than help sometimes. If you're just looking for a monogamous relationship, ignore my post.

For the reasons above, I try to avoid adding women I sarge on FB.

Thx Jester. That's a Good idea regarding the updates, comments, etc. Being aware of your online persona and how you come across if def inportant.

And this gem, which I learned from ABC's, is a fail-proof text I always send the afternoon following the night I meet a girl at a club:

Sexy dress, unique style, perfect shade of lipstick....but enough about how I looked last night.... how is (her name) doing today?

**you can change the three features listed at the beginning around to match whatever she wore. you'll get bonus points if you're specific about something like a shirt color or whatever. and be sure to plug in her name so it's more personal.
