LAs Best,
There is a ton of content on this subject. I actually just saw a presentation by Bravo PUA at Casanovefest. Gareth from the ABCs also talks about online profiles and texting in his new product Text to Sex. Check it out here:

http://thejestersblog.blogspot.com/2012 ... -of-3.htmlBasically you have to play the best angle that works for you. In my experience, cocky funny works better online than "nice guy." As we all know, nice guy syndrome rarely works in real life or internet dating life. When you are messaging girls on dating sites, you need to hook her. The best way I've seen is to convince her that she's not right for you. For example, you could say "We seem to have a lot in common, but I'm just not a lover of walks on the beach (or something silly form her profile) so we'll never work out!"
You want to come across as fun and interesting, not an asshole-sometimes when guys hear cocky funny, they go right into asshole mode. There's a fine line, so don't blur it! Good luck!
