So I caught a movie on Satellite TV the other day. Peaceful Warrior.

It is not a great movie but it is an inspirational movie. It basically relates to being in the moment and learning to be Zen like.

Basically, the book tells the young apprentice that he has to get rid of the garbage in his head if he wants true mastery of himself.

Embrace the current moment because we let things go un-notice b/c we are always moving too fast and just looking for the end result of things.

Anyways, rent it or watch it on showtime this month for free.

redbelt, a movie about brazilian jiujitsu and mixed martial arts, was the best martial arts flick i've seen in a while. great action sequences and cool philosophy even if the plot was a little (just a tad) contrived and convoluted. anyway, i wouldn't say it's really PU related, but since tons of posters on this forum seem to enjoy fighting, i think you'd all like this one.

The Book is WAY WAY better then the movie. When I watched the movie, I felt like the time lapse was not the same as what the book described. The movie does not capture the meditativeness of the book.

Anyways, one of my favorite books. One of the few books I did not sell on half.com and keep on my bookshelf.

One of my absolute FAVORITE books. I will attest to it's mind-opening brilliance with two disclaimers:

The movie is rotten.
Don't read the second book, 'Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior'. It was a big letdown.

Anyway, posting in an epic thread.

This is the 1st time I stumbled onto this external PUA products review section, just goes to show I need to stay in touch and post here more.

I recently heard about the Peaceful Warrior because I noticed it was Hynotica (Eric Von Sydow)'s favorite book on his Facebook page.

It's great to hear you guys recommending it too, I will check it out...
