Im in the middle of a one on one with Gareth in LA. I lasted two hours in August with JT and Ben. It just didnt feel right, trying to mix it up with my wingmen 30 + years my younger. Couldnt see myself doing the Ken and Barbie, or I love you routines. And touching someone and spinning them around...too outside my comfort zone. So, magnanimously, Jt deverted most of my fee to the one on one. Considering myself to be a hard case, I extended the ABC massage for an additional two days here. I was the worlds oldest virgin...really ! Had three pumps with a self absorbed Art Therapist and was rejected followed by a nervous breakdown. At 51 met a girl on a cruise who dropped by my room drunk at 2 am. She dumped me two days later. Got to admit Im clueless. Taking this step at this point tempted me to start a low dose of daily heroin but here I am drug free and scared shitless ! So...like Gareth...reading the situation as a mind number ( appropriately) , threw away the regular curriculum and decided to wing it. The first night ... I slouch, stare at my feet, dont think in the moment, speak too fast, and cant for the life of me remember openers....but...I got game ! First set disaster, second set...two russian girls talked a little Russian and they ran away...third set, three unbelievable Chinese girls taking pictures of each other....I took their picture and hightailed it back to Gareth...shit. Fourth set...shut up...talked to two girls ten minutes...fifth set...calmed down and had a natural opener ...came away with names, personal info and damn...Jennifer was about 25 yo ! Have no clue what we do tonight, but now Im curious...After 60 years of sitting on the sidelines, can I have a life ?

I salute you for your courage brother! Being afraid just means that you are alive, and if you are alive then it just means that you still have the opportunity to make your future your own!
Wish you the best on your journey.

I don't know what I'd be doing at 60. Probably gaming old ladies at the nursing homes. I seen old men do that charm all the old woman. Skills are for life,
I really hope this works for you, I don't have any 60 year old friends. I occasionally hear about the community making a difference for an older fellow. I've never seen it done, but I'd like to see it happen for you.
Keep healthy and keep exercising.
All the best,

Thanks for the support. Yep, someday you will be 60 too ! I never imagined it when I was younger. Interesting, you dont feel old when you get there. During the LA experience, Im gaming anyone and everyone . After I comb my hair, I dont look at my reflection for the rest of the day. Otherwise, the enormity of what Im doing could overwelm me. Im not trying to make a mark here. But I am trying to make a life, which has eluded me up to this point. The prospect of being able to meet people at any time in any situation drives me on. No matter the embarassment of the rejection, I laugh it off and go on. Hey, I actually impressed Gareth with my effort. Gotta say, watching him, JT and Ben J in action is akin to getting a painting instruction from Leonardo. I know my percentages can never be as high as they, but at this point I only need one. Considering there are 3.5 billion women out there, I think my odds are pretty good !
