Hola,

I just completed the June 17 boot camp in San Francisco with Gareth, Oz, Sarah, and Mike. It was one of the most existing and the longest (funny how the boot camp distorted time) weekend in my life. Can't say thank you enough to these guys.

Ok, back to my favorite subject - me (wink). I am a student living in LA, recently got into the game via my game design professor's recommended readings. I kind of knew about the community while in college, but never thought much of it until the beginning of this year. I've been working and hanging out with the same group of people for an entire year, and consequently I was not able to expand my social circle at all. Therefore, one day I sat down and decided to do something about it, and here I am!

I've had moderate success with girls on and off, but I could never quite understand what's going on. I am able to approach, open, talk, and usually number close through a mixture of experience and improvisation. But quite often I found myself lost somewhere in the process and had to rely on luck (eeh). I am not very good at flirting either in both short and long terms; there were so many missed opportunities where I just didn't know how to flirt back and keep the ball alive.

Truly grateful to be part of the community. I am excited and looking forward to where this may lead and the fun-loving friends I will make along the way.

Congrats on taking the initiative. It's a respectable decision that many have too much pride to make.

Take some of my buddies, for example. They hung out with me and several bootcamp Alumni the other night. They witnessed what they could only describe as dark magic.

But it's easier than that, and unlike dark magic, this exists.

Flew back home and made it a goal to someday have a robot! Hey why not, right?
