ISO: Los Angeles Promoters

Being 6-months new to LA, I still continue to familiarize myself with the nightlife here every weekend. However, ever since my social life was kicked into hyperdrive from bootcamp, I've found it a little difficult to track down the right promoters for the happening venues.

If you, or someone you know, promotes at a hot spot in Hollywood, Hermosa, Venice, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills or Downtown LA, I'd love to hear the who, where and when, as well as the atmosphere of the venue, the music played, etc.

If possible, I'd like to avoid places that have metal detectors. Each one I've been to with high security had a horrible male/female ratio.
