Anyone know of a late-night restaurant in Pasadena, CA that has a couch seating area so kino is easier? If you've been to the Edison in downtown, think of an atmosphere like that. I have until Tuesday of next week to find this ideal place.
While we're on the topic, as a matter of fact, if you also know of a similar venue in Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Venice, Hermosa, Culver City or Burbank, I'd love to hear about it. As my numbers add up, I'm sure knowing those other areas will help too.
I'll post venues I find on this thread too.

I found this place in Pasadena:
Bar Celona 46 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105 P: 626.405.1000
The inside looks colorful, there's plenty of lounge-like seating so you're not limited with a table separating you from your date. If you've been, let me know. Otherwise, I'll be the first to review it.
**update: I've now been - it's definitely worth it. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable.

After my date last night, I can testify that this place kicks ass.... BODEGA WINE BAR 814 Broadway Ave Santa Monica, CA Ph: (310) 394-3504 Main website: http://www.bodegawinebar.comPros: Dim lighting so k-closing is easier, lounge seating all over (great for kino), fantastic wine selection (duh...it's a wine bar), great service Cons: Street parking is a little tricky on some nights, doesn't have a sign on outside so if you can't find it - it's nextdoor to "Swingers", Two meals and 4 glasses of wine totaled to $44 not including tip ( this is a con to me because I'm a cheap bastard!!!) Another place in Costa Mesa, CA: MESA 725 Baker St Costa Mesa, CA 92626 http://www.mesacostamesa.comIt's very comfortable. Although my date and I sat at a table, the seating was U-shaped so we were still able to sit next to one another and kino was easy. Very trendy decor, both valet and regular parking in the lot. Can be quite busy during weekend. Reservations are recommended. Service was mediocre in the sense that I had to page the waitress a few times. Other than that, they were accommodating and brought some delicious food. Two meals, three drinks and $10 tip totaled to about $75.00

I'll have to add The Skybar in West Hollywood to my list of venues for a date. However, I wouldn't take a girl here too late because of 1) the difficulty getting in, 2) the fact that it converts into more of a trendy lounge, and 3) if your timing is right, you have a terrific view of the sunset and the city from the poolside tables So this is one of those rare venues that is good for both dates AND sarging.
