Great Observations

Hey everyone, this is just a quick note on my weekend in Chicagoland. I went out to a couple of decent (but small) venues that I wouldn't assume would be very diverse- Fedora and NV lounges. I just wanted to let you know what I saw and observed and am happy to report. The DJ was asian (korean-last name Shin, I believe). He had the most gorgeous tall blonde and brunette girls dancing around and IN the booth I've ever seen. Saw two asian guys- could have been Korean or Chinese. They were dressed nice and in shape and talked to some of the hottest girls in the bar/lounge. I distinctly remember getting jealous, leavingto the bathroom, outside to smoke and coming back and they were still engaged in conversation with them. Then saw one of the same guys outside later making out and catching a cab with one of the girls- they did not come to the club together as I saw them arrive seperately in different groups. As for myself, my buddies invited some girls over and I ended up getting one of their digits- decent russian chick. So not a bad night.

I just wanted to let you know this- albeit chicago is a big diverse city, but it seems asian guys are getting the message to get their act together, overcome/or ignore the negative stereotypes, get some confidence in themselves (why shouldn't they have?) and just fucking approach girls. ON the other hand, it may also seem that non-asian and/or white women are also opening up to the fact that although they may not of had them on the radar before, if a presentable asian guy with balls to approach did so and gamed them right, they are all too willing to heed regardless of media or social stereotypes. Not saying you won't get struck out repeatedly by non-asian and any girl for that matter any given night in any given place but things are happening.

Be apart of this trend, the best part is- By helping yourself, you are helping all asian (american) men in the process with each success you achieve!!

Great post! A bit jealous about this, simply because there are many more WF in the state, anyway, The Asian countries are totally lagging behind when it comes to AMWF! JT, you got to come to Asia! Expand your business!

I am trying my best to talk to so many wf here in HK to tell them that we are "Dateable", I am also setting up a group and try to improve the image of Asian man!

We have a highly active chapter in the Chicago area (currently headed by yours truly!) and we have been going out virtually every single weekend for the last 5 months... No joke.

I know a few guys that frequent NV and Fedora, so really, you may have run into some of our ABC's alumni in action. Cesar and myself frequent Crescendo, Wicker Park, Transit, and many more clubs. The night scene in Chicago is a ton of fun. How much longer are you in Chicago? I am heading out this weekend and would be willing to hang out with ya.
