Hey guys, my name is Votha and I just recently took a bootcamp in LA with JT, Ozzie, Sarah and Heather- I'll post a review on that later. Physically, Im a 5'7" tan, athletic, average or some say even good looking, Cambodian guy. Since learning about the game, I have also worked a lot on my fashion and would say that Im pretty well dressed. Being born in the states and living with American foster parents most of my life, I consider myself a typical American boy but still very in touch with my Cambodian roots and culture. Since I've been here my whole life, I've dealt with a lot of racism and stupid asian jokes from everyone around me, which I'm sure affected me somehow in terms of confidence with woman.
I've known about the community for about 4 years since reading The Game, It was recommend to me by a friend right before I joined the Marine Corps at the age of 18. I was WAY excited to learn about this stuff since I got NO action from girls since losing my virginity at a young age (pure luck & awkward experience). I've always been the type to be honest with my self and loved self improvement stuff, so this was like gold for me. This was also the time i had my first girlfriend (white girl) and major oneitis! So that made me want to learn even more. Unfortunately, for the next four years ive spent more time reading then practicing. However, when I was able to implement some stuff i learned correctly, I got great reactions and some results. This gave me encouragement to not give up, even though i still only slept with two girls my whole 4 years in the military.Right after my enlistment in the Marine Corps, I made sure that I would sign up for a boot camp right away, no excuses!!! and i did:)
My level in the game: im pretty good at opening with very low approach anxiety. i can kino and deliver banter pretty well for like... the 1st minute! after that my energy drops and the girls lose interest. My biggest obvious weakness is my storytelling ability, since i rarely tell stories. That also meant my comfort skills were weak and so are my conversational skills(wiki method). This has always been a huge problem for me for a very long time, so this is what Ill be working on the most. Luckily, i have known a few people who are GREAT at telling stories and I can think of them for inspiration.
I need as much honest criticism as I can get, and any help would be appreciated because I am really serious about getting this part of my life handled. Ill start posting field reports soon. Also, Ill try to post my boot camp review soon. Im very excited to be a part of this brotherhood finally and glad that Im not alone and Ill try to help as much as I can also! ^_^

Hello and welcome Votha! I'm glad to hear you had an awesome experience at your bootcamp! Story telling and wiki can be a difficult thing at first but it just takes some getting used to. To be honest, it was a problem for me when I started. I recommend taking improv classes. It's helped me a lot! I look forward to reading your field reports as well as your successes and failures. Remember to write about what you did good, what you could have done better, and what you learned!
