I guess ravenous could mean hungry for sex or have a voracious appetite for sex as well ( and not just for food ... )

So when Johnny used 'ravenous' on her she could have interpreted that to mean that Johnny thinks that she is sexually attractive and sexually liberated... which is also a direct sexual opener....

In either case, they had a good time
