JT, I think that is really well-written and has some great thoughts in it. (I know you wrote it a long time ago, but it's still good, and I'm reading it for the first time).
I think both girls and guys need to up their game. Sure eventually, most of us want to marry a great person of the opposite sex and want to stop chasing. We all want to feel we got a "catch". How boring life would be without both sexes using their wiles during the mating process. If things come too easy, it's just, frankly, boring. "Anything in life worth having is worth working for." (I have no idea who said that, but I really subscribe to it).
