I'm sitting in my bed, throat hoarse as sandpaper, fever running, sweat dripping down my face, congested worse than LA traffic, and fading in and out of consciousness. Ibuprofin, antibiotics, and vitamin C are my source of food now, with the occasional bowl of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup to fight the aches away.
Being bedridden for 3 days straight, I am stuck diddling away on my phone, texting people, playing Angry birds, and resorting to Netflix and video games for entertainment.
And yet my 23 year old hormones still coarse through me...
I texted all of my girls, about 20 different girls but only 6 or 7 respond.
Me: I'm siiiiiiiick
no bueno
Kate: Awwww.... Poor baby...
Me: I can't reach my anything. Come play nurse
Kate: I'm in Ventura at work. What do you have?
Me: Probably strep. one of my friends gave me antibiotics, so I'll be ok. Are you good at administering care?
Kate: I'm really good
you already know this...
Me: Get off work and come over.
I leave the door unlocked and Katie comes in. She sees I'm in terrible condition. She plays nurse with me for a while. My TV is on with a game of Persona 3 FES at a pause screen.
Kate: What game are you playing?
Me: Persona 3. It's awesome. Half high school simulation, half dungeon crawler
Kate: Wait why would you want to be a high schooler?
Me: Just try it! You'd love it
Kate: Anime? Asians are weird...
She plays for a while as a high school student and studies. She plays to the point where her character (male) is now dating (and fucks) the hottest girl in the school.
Kate: This is awesome... I want this game.
Me: Told you
Kate is completely hypnotized by the game, she fucking loves it and has been playing for about an hour. The game gets to a scene where it cuts to black and says:
"You shared an intimate evening with Yukari. Your relationship is stronger now!"
Kate: YES! They're gonna fuck! I got your character laid!
Me: It's my job. Now get over here.
With all my aches and pains and sickness, Katie is so amped up and geeking out about the game we end up fucking... More so she does more of the work as I just sorta lay there completely tired.
After having sex, my congestion started to clear up from all the activity.
Moral of the story: Have sex, feel better, video games help. Even sick people can get laid. Some girls are in fact, closet nerds.
P.S - Persona 3 is probably one of the best RPG games ever. Katie and I ended up beating it that night when she stayed the night.
