That 80's Party

Not my party, but I did help organize it. Learned tons of lessons from tonight:
-INVITE INVITE INVITE. Doom invited with 50 confirmed... only about 5 of those came. Expect 10% turnout.
-HAVE YOUR PHONE ON YOU. I was wearing spandex so I left my phone in my pants. Some of the chicks I invited were texting/calling to ask for directions... I also got a "hey what are you doing?" Text at 2:40 that I didn't see until this morning :-/
-LIQUOR + SHOTGLASSES. Keg was not finished, but the liquor was... both handles. ADD Party girls love doing shots. BIG TIME.
-FACEBOOK > PHONE. It takes less time to send out an Event invitation on FB then to mass text on my crappy phone. Also has more social proof w/ photos from the last parties and such.
-KNOW YOUR COMPETITION. Last night we were competing against Mid-Terms, Tequila Thursdays at Sig Pi, and a Toga part at Sig Ep.
-BARTENDING ROCKS. I was bartender for the shots. Its a cool thing to do.

Here is what happened:
Meet up with Doom to get some Mullets for this 80's part at about 9:45. The costume store was closed. No Mullets =[.
There were about 30 individual girls that showed up tonight, but they did rotate in and out threw out the night. The first wave would come in, wave two would come in, wave one would leave, wave three would come in, etc. At some points, when the party reached the climax, there was soo many people there that I could not move. wow.

Right now, I have a long list of people to invite to stuff, but I haven't developed a deep relationship with a lot of them so I dont have my tight core group of cuties yet. I do have a group of cool guys though =]. but yeah, It'll be good to have like, Wednesday Movie Nights at my place or something.... and Halloween is coming up, and I love horrors =]

It's Friday =]. Good news and Bad news. I'm going to Drill with the Army Reserves. Yeah! I am gonna make some cash! Boo! I'm have to show up at 0430... So here is my plan:
-Go to class Friday
-Go party Friday night
-Do not sleep
-Go to Drill Saturday morning at 0430
-Go crash at UtopiaFive's crib because he lives nearby the unit
-Wake up
-Go to Beta
-Repeat

Its 2am and I just got back from a 50's Greaser party. Me and Doom went to get wigs for the party. I got a Mullet =]. I get there at about 10 and guess who walks in 5 minutes after me? YO ITS THAT ASIAN CHICK. WTFFfffffffff. Awkward... I text doom and I found out doom hooked up with her a few weeks back--explains why she keeps on rolling up in the parties. LOL. She leaves a little bit later (thank god).

I opened this 2set. Both were wearing leather jackets. I told them "they are Ballers!" cuz no one else here is and yet its a 50's party. The older one is a senior and is a TriDelt, the younger one is 19 and is visiting her cousin from the OC. I'll call them TriDelt and HB OC. I introduce them to Doom.
What do you know, Doom meet TriDelt 2 years ago on cold approach... small world. TriDelt was my target at first, but shoot, her cousin is cute as hell. I kissed her. I isolated her outside and she told me she's not hooking up with me tonight. "wtf thats all you girls think about." I pass that shit aside. Got to know her better. She is fucking cool as hell. She's super cute and had these huge tits and ass and oh, guess what? she's half deaf. I respect her for that. We go back inside to smoke the hooka, and TriDelt told us that they are leaving soon =[ I cried. I'm gonna miss this girl.

Yoo btw, lesson learned. When your at a house party and a chick asks you if your drunk or not, say "I'm drunk as FUCkkkkkkkk" cuz when you say "no i'm not drinking tonight" they cant have the excuse of "we were drunk"

Drilling Debauchery

Ay Yoo! Another crazy weekend for me! I love them =]

Background: I have Drill this weekend with the Army Reserves. 0430 Saturday morning and 0500 Sunday morning. I went and partied Friday night all the way until 0200, thats when I got home, showered, changed, and drove to drill. I didn't leave drill untill 1600. Shittttt! I drove to UtopiaFive's crib to crash for 4 hours and headed out to Beta. This is where our debauchery starts.

Beta was dead, but I walked pass this Turbo in Red going up the stairs, OMG I'm gonna talk to her. I opened a few sets and guess who I see talking to RedTurbo downstairs? PUA of the Future. Ha! I took a pic of him with her.
I opened a few other sets and seen RedTurbo upstiars. I open. It goes well. She's one big party girl. She lives in FoCo and its bad logistics tonight. I got the # close.
I walk into the BeatPort Lounge and open a chick wearing something that looks like flannel. "Hey, flannel, flannel, flannel, you look like a Lumberjack." Twirl, spin, some crazy shit. "I love you, lets get married." some more things that I dont remember. I told her I was from boulder and that I'm a huge hippie and I love to recycle. "OMG, I LOVE TO RECYCLE TOO! I'm an environmental science major." hahaha weirdest qualification ever. makeout. The makeout was at like 3 minutes into the set to give you a time reference of how fast this is going. I talk about who her and her friend was for a minute and then asked what are they doing later. "we dont know, you?" "OMGgggggggggggg Jengaaaaaaaaaa at my friend's place."
LumberJack's friend loves jenga. I told them they need to meet my friend, UtopiaFive. They meet, and we extract.
Recap: Makeout happened at about 3 minutes in the set, they agreed ed to bounce with me at about 10 minutes in. Shitttttttt!
We head back to UtopiaFive's place. We walked to UtopiaFive's car, drove to there car, and I got into there car to make sure they are gonna go with us and keep there state up. In the ride back, I was chill, talked about lite stuff. I know its gonna go down. Dont have to "work" for it.
We get to UtopiaFive's place, his friend and his friend's GF are also with us. We actually played Jenga and took shots. The girls took LOTS of shots and since UtopiaFive does not have any shot glasses yet, they took them out of rubbermaid contianers. LOL.
When the friend and friend's GF left, its GLORY TIME!
I closed her. They left at about 0300. Me and UtopiaFive de-briefed. I took a shower and then headed to Drill at 0415. haha Crazy weekend!

Lessons:
-Shots Shots Shots! Make sure you have liquor at your place with shot glasses. It doesnt have to be nice shit. We had Skyy but I know guys that put 5 o'clock (or something similarly cheap) into old Skyy bottles... the girls never know.
-There are windows for escalation. Know when it is and go threw them. I seen the extraction window at 10 minutes, I went threw it.
-You dont have to be Super Happy Woooo to be attractive. Shit 4 hours of sleep after I did 12 hours of work for the army.

Life

I cried again today. I found my copy of Rick Atkinson's The Long Gray Line that I bought on 9OCT07, a little more then 2 years ago. I bought it at the PX on Fort Lee during AIT. I just graduated high school about 18 weeks ago and I just graduated basic training. I wanted to be a good soldier by reading up on soldierly books. I picked up The Long Gray Line because it was on sale at the bottom of the shelf. Wow, how did this little activity changed my world.

The book is about West Point's class of 1966. The majority of the cadets were fresh out of high school and entered West Point, when they graduated, they went straight to Vietnam (side note, my dad was a Captain in the ARVN). It talks about there struggles at West Point, during the war, and there life afterwards. I felt like I connected with the story so much.

I enlisted on 4APR07 during my senior year of high school because I wanted to do something fun. It wasn't for Honor, or Duty, or Country. I found myself on a flight for Ft. Jackson, SC three weeks after graduation. THREE WEEKS! I'M A FUCKING ADULT NOW. I was yelled at, punished like hell, had no sleep, and experienced AMAZING things that truly pushed my geeky-childish ass. Thank you Drill Sergent Hugsly and Coaty. I've always had the discipline inside of me, but this time it was being nurtured out. I AM A FUCKING PROFESSIONAL--CHILDHOOD HAS ENDED. I AM A LEAN AND MEAN KILLING MACHINE.


This was where I called home for my stay at Basic Training. These guys to my left and right were my friends, family, and brothers. I had never felt anything like that at that point in my life.

I decided to become the best soldier I could. I dreamed of being Airbone. I dreamed of being an Officer. Rick Atkinson's book cemented it. Shoot, these West Pointers seem to have the amazing adventurous life I wanted.

I finished the book on 17NOV07. I applied to West Point on 15NOV07. I received my nomination to West Point Prep in mid-December. It was the best thing I received in the mail at that point in my life. This was the first time in my life that I felt like I was becoming the person I wanted to be.



Fast forward to November 2008. It has been a few months into the academic year at West Point Prep in Fort Monmouth, NJ. I have been in this little community for about 6 months. My Identity has changed. West Point does not seem fun anymore.

I am a fucking professional soldier who is more experienced then these cadets who are yelling at me. West Point is filled with mundane hours doing nothing because your miles away from civilization. I wanted to party and meet girls, there were no parties in sight and the girls were... Ughhhh... use your imagination.

In January I received my Congressional Nomination to attend West Point and be apart of the Class of 2013. I was confronted with two roads: go to West Point, become an Officer in the US Army, and achieve the dream I worked a year for; or, fuck that, go to a civilian school, invest more into this community and self-actulization, get my social life handled, get my dating life handled, and become the FUN guy I dreamed about being since I was little.


Me, 3 weeks after high school. I had no idea what was coming at me. This photo was taken at Reception in Ft. Jackson, SC. I was tired as hell every single day... and Basic Training starts in a few days. What was I getting into?

I had no idea what to do. Both dreams were big things to me. My dad was an Officer, I wanted to be at least a company commander just like him. I also wanted to become good at this crazy thing I was obsessed with.

I was happen to be reading 7 Habits during that time, and I realized that one of my key values in life (Adventure) would not be fulfilled at West Point. Those stone walls were no place for a restless horny guy like me. Peace out. I'm going to move to Colorado--17 hours from my home in Michigan--and plant new roots.

I will be alone, isolated, and yet have UNLIMITED possibilities. It is all up to me.

When I ran into Rick Atkinson's book today, it made me question what my life would be like if I was a plebe at USMA right now. I seen picture from Beast. My old roommate was flying around in a blackhawk this summer. I'm out feeling up girls.

I know that my want to become an Officer was instilled in me by the Army, my Dad, and my Ego. It wasn't what my core wanted and I might be quite miserable leading a platoon of men in the middle of a desert because I haven't found to like myself for me yet, but I still wonder how my life would be different at West Point.


I remembered this. it made me so fuckign emotional when I seen it.

Now, I have no desire to lead soldiers--Officership is nowhere in my dreams. I have about 3 years left in the Army Reserve and I an VERY sure that I am not re-enlisting, but I am an E4 and I wanna hit Sergent in 2010. I think that starting my own business would be 10x more fun then anything else. Besides talking about girls, me and Doom spend our other time talking about making money. We have very common interests =] haha.

Thank you everyone who has keep on coming back to my FRs. Thank you to everyone who has reply. Thank you to those people who messaged me telling me how I inspired them. Thank you to every cool guy I have meet in person. I love you all. We are a band of brothers. I have grown so much since the day I bought Rick Atkinson's book. Shoot, I have grown so much since the first post in this thread. Thank you for the support.

I wonder what my life would be like 5 years from now.

It Thursday =]

What up guys! I need to re-block my days. My days were really efficient before summit, but since the weather has gotten colder, I haven't been doing my morning runs every day. Its COLD! I'm gonna re-block it so that the runs re in the PM where the temps are around the 50's instead of the 30's in the AM.

My grades are..... iffy. Some classes are great, others are ... questionable. I haven't been paying attention to the details a lot, so I should now. I also need to DO ALL MY HOMEWORK FOR MONDAY ON FRIDAY. because I am quite sure that my weekends are gonna be crazy =]. Oh yeah, Fake Bachelor Party with Bottle Service Saturday!!!!! ahahahahaha!

I have a day2 in an hour and if I don't close then, I have a 22nd birthday to go to later. Ca-Ching!

And, oh yeah, its Thursday, the weekend starts today =]

Thursby Thursdays

So chick for the day2 was sorta weird? she's really sarcastic and wont stop busting my balls. Jesus! know I know how girls feel when a guy is all Banter and never gets into a real conversation. She loves horrors and says we should watch horrors next week. Hmm finally a chick who likes horrors =]

I kicked her out at 10pm cuz I had to take a HUGeeeeee shit. HUGE. then meet up with Bear and the other guys to go to a chicks 22nd Bday. That place was PACKED. Its like a rave. and TONS of booze. I said I was not gonna drink that night but I ended up having 3 drinks (alcohole==addicting).
Most of the people there were older. They were more mature. I moved around and meet people. Meet two really fun chicks, HB Jesus and HB Yellow. HB Jesus was fun, made out with her, and lost her for a sec because she had to say hi to someone who just walked in. So I went and talked to HB Yellow. She's fun too. Then HB Jesus re-opened me. Talked. Made out. and guess what? She has to leave... ugh... Its Thursday and not everyone is down to party like a rock star. I walked around looking for HB Yellow, but cant find her. she must of left too. Ughh.... I'm getting tired too... I have to wake up at 8 and its 1. Peace out I'm going to sleep.

Lesson:
-Thursdays are not heavy party days, well at least today wasn't. I think its in party by the HUGE Benny Benassi event that almost all Greek Life went to.
-Be present. I noticed this during the day2. Chick was giving me BS and instead of going back to what I used to do of thinking a way to get XYZ results, I just didn't give a fuck and called her out on it or just moved on. Much better results. Instead of Me vs You its Me and You.
-Screen for the chicks that are down to party. Picked up on this awhile ago, but used it a LOT tonight to find out the more fun chicks .

I have one more class and then I'm off to hangout with a successful entrepreneur in town. Whoot! Party on Brothers!
