Sight's 30 Night Challenge (now with pictures!!!)

I just want to put this down on paper, so I have something definite.

I will go out 30 nights in a row, starting February 1st.

I have a couple of commitments during that month; so if I can not go out on a particular night I will extend the challenge by 1 more day so that at the end of the challenge, in X number of days I went out 30 nights on every night that I could have.

I've been doing a prequel the last several days:

Last week Sun-Tues I was out every night in Vegas. Following that I was out Fri-Mon. And I'm going out tonight (Wed), tomorrow (Thur), Fri, Sat, and maybe Sunday again.

My goals:
1.) I will play the 10 point game every night, by myself or with whoever is winging me.

10 point game =
1 points for approach that's 30sec - 2min
2 points for approach that's 2min+
5 points for make out
10 points for pull.

A 30min conversation is still 2points, unless I make out or pull. "Being a great conversationalist doesn't get you laid" - APB.

For every point under 10 at the end of every night I will put $10 into a pool of money, At the end of the challenge I will donate $ to various PUA forums.

2) Go Direct on at least 1 set per night, as in "Heey, I saw you standing here and you're totally cute! what's up?"

3) In order to learn the most from this challenge I want to keep reading new material every day, and trying it. I was thinking of revisiting the blogs of: 60YearsofChallenge from mASF, Sinn, Capt. Jack, Saffron, Tyler from RSD, pod casts on betteraznman that talk about going direct, and...?

Right now, I think my biggest hurdle will be going out by myself when no one wants to go. So if you are in LA and are down to go out in February, please do PM me. (ahem: 456, apex, TANK, YellowCab, Sexual Chocolate, etc etc)

Dealing with Day2s: I'm thinking I'll treat Day2 as a night out (with full 10 points earned). And if the day2 ends early (b4 12:15am) I'll go out afterwords.

I do not expect this to be a 30 days of walking in the park. My last stretches of 3+ nights in a row have been exhausting. But such is life.

Nothing really exciting happened, but I wanted to start the thread so others who were there could chime in.

I get there about 9:30pm (super early) with Baja Fresh. Then Quick shows up.

We hit Cantina across the street. There is a lone wolf @ the bar. We sit at the Bar I'm next to her. She's probably ~27, white, brunette, slim body. Maybe a 6-7.

Sight: So are you coming or going? (I don't know, it just came out)
HB: I'm staying
Sight: cool, ya, we're going to bounce to Opera next door, but we're suuuper early.
HB: I'm not into that club scene.

blah blah. She starts asking me about my accent. I make her guess. I tell her she's terrible at guessing. I start teaching her words in my language. We both lived in NY, she starts telling me about where she's from.

Her friend shows up. I intro myself, get names. Her friend originally wanted to get a table for the both of them, but she ends up hovering for another 5-10min. We vibe. Then her friend invites HB and me to sit w/ her @ a table outside.

The HBs go outside and invite me. I join them 1min later. Invite them to a party on Sat. I tell her I'll text her the details. She takes out her phone, I take it call myself, save my name in her phone. She says she's down. We will see...

Chris shows up.

We get to Opera @ 10:15. The guy at the door, I believe is the same guy who worked Apple on Sunday -- the guy who was nit picking people to go on. And he was only choosing girls.

He tells us, it will be difficult to go in w/ 4 guys. I tell him I know JTR, he says he's got only 2 comps instead of 3. This is not JTRs boss. I get JTR on the phone, JTRs boss comes over we figure it out. We go in. Quick does not get in because of his ID, the bouncer rightfully believes that it's not him in the picture and doesn't let him in.

Antsypants shows up.

Inside, the venue was mostly the dance floor. And it was about 1/2 full at 12am. I guess it was really an off night.

Blue showed up, and bounced later. I met some other promoter, Lawrance, he said he knew JTR and gave shoutouts.

I winged Chris on one set, and had to eject to take a call. Was going to wing Chris again on another set, but I guess he had it OK. Didn't approach any other sets, nothing really caught my eye, or maybe I just wasn't warmed up. Baja and I left about 12:30.

There were some decent white girls at the venue overall.

Anyway, I'm glad I went out and got to meet Chris + Antsypants; and thanks for guestlist hookups JTR!!

Talked w/ Blue very briefly today. He told me some phone game stuff that I’ll try:

1. Text girls next day. “Hey it was awesome meeting you. I had fun.”

2. When asking them out “hey, what’s your schedule like?” not, “when are you free”

3. He takes them to see a movie on day2.

He makes out w/ them when meeting them. That’s how the #s are solid, IMO.

I ran into Apex and we played the 10point game briefly. I got out of my Krav Maga class at 10pm and was feelin tired, but approaching got me in state fast.

We're walking to the patio, some girl is sitting down and gives me EC. I extend my hand, she takes it, I pull her in. She gets up. I start showing her salsa movies.

She likes it.

5min in I bounce her to the dance floor.

I try to make out w/ her (makeout = 5 points!). I put my left hand on the back of her neck, and move her face so that she'll face me. But her face keeps going too far to the given direction.

I tried another 2-3 times, I put my left hand on her right cheek and moved her face towards me, but it wasn't happening. Maybe I should have grabbed her around the waste w/ my other hand as well.

After 10min of dancing we walk back to the bar. And she walks off to her friends, I turn around to do more sets.

I wing Apex on a set of white girls. We get them separated. It was a lot of comfort, little on Attraction. After 10-15min, another chick came in from that set, and I got multiple IOIs from her. I guess cuz I was social proofed w/ her friend. Like she grabbed my hand to get names and didn't let go for a long time. She was leaning in. Etc.

And then... I stop approaching for 20min and my state droooooooops.

Oh, some white girl who's a promoter that I approached earlier (I thought she was a lone wolf), I see her again on the patio at end of the night. She waves me over, introduces me to her friends, and # closes me.

I left early cuz I wasn't able to recover from the 20min gap in not approaching.

I've been reading the blog of 60, and he suggests talking w/ EVERYONE. So that is what I will try.

Reading his blog, I'm re-learning some basics I guess.

I had a really off night tonight.

I'm not sure if I was tired or what.

I get to green door at 10pm. I'm the first one in line. They don't let ppl in till 10:25pm.

I finally get in, with $20 cover. It's empty.

Towards 11pm, it's HB5-7 white girls galore.

It's just like wwwwtttfffffffff where are the azn girls!?

I spotted 2 azn girls for the WHOLE venue. An HB5 with huge gaps in her teeth, and another HB5 who was chubby.

I approached one guy the whole night in order to get warmed up, I commented on his shirt, and talked w/ him for 10min about traveling.

Everywhere I turned I saw only white girls.

I was getting irritated; so I bounced to the Griffin at 11:30pm. Griffin is a loungish bar, 5mi away from hollywood.

There is a line at the griffin, like 20 guys + 3 girl in front of me. Surprisingly it moves rather fast.

I get in, it's mostly 5s and 5.5s. Literally a couple, 2-3, azn sets for the whole venue but they're all seated down. I don't want to work for it. I'm reminded of why I no longer go the Griffin. No good looking girls.

I got a drink. Talked w/ some dude about Obama on the patio, and bounced. I caught 2 separate white girls staring at me at the griffin. I was dressed to go to the club and not a bar, so I bet I was the best dressed guy in the venue.

I have to find better venues w/ more azn girls. Boulevard3 and Highlands comes to mind.

Bars were mostly dead tonight (Thursday):

Went to CCLA meeting.

I stop by ECCO at 10pm to see what's it like. It doesn't open till 11pm.

Went to get food w/ CCLA guys, which was probably a mistake - we should have gone straight to Green Door.

At 11pm, go back to the ECCO. We can only get in if we have an even ratio of guys to girls or are on the list.

We bounce to Green Door. There's a HUGE line and $20 cover for ppl on the guestlist, and $40 for ppl aren't on the list.

We bounce to Beauty Bar. Dead. 4 set Azns in the corner. 3 girls 1 guy, sitting down. I don't open.

Bounce to Velvet margarita. It's DEAD. 1 set of 2 white girls (5s at best).

Bounce back to Green Door, we need to have girls to get in comped on the list.

Bounce to Downtown. 7th Grand, dead. Library Bar, dead.

Go home at 1am, and DON'T masturbate.

Good stuff!

How about driving to Monterey park? There are tons of AZN's there.

Also, what about more bars/clubs on the West Side? I know more ABC's hang out in SaMo area.

not too much happened…

I # closed a very cute azn girl on the patio of the bar. She wanted a cig, I had taken matches from the bar. Previous encounters prepared me for this. I saw them looking for a light, I offered it, I transitioned w/ something, and I talked w/ her for 20min. I cold read her like a book, and I did minor qualification, I said she looks good with her contacts, she smiled. I intro’d them to Cameo before they left for my own social proof. I invited her to hang out on Sat. I will call her Monday and invite her to a surprise date near my area.

MoS was being the “embassador of fun” for a 3 set of girls and was introducing them to random “tall” guys. He introduces me to the azn girl. w00t! They’re all sitting down. I get mine to stand up and do side steps to get mini isolatation. I see MoS talk to another girl, and after my azn stands up another guy joins in to occupy the 3rd chick. I do standard comfort stories, which was very difficult with her. I felt like I didn’t have attraction. She seemed a bit LSE too, her toes were pointing at each other when she was standing up, and her had pointing to the ground, she was looking down. Anyway, it went nowhere.

So today I was supposed to go to ABC3 and ABC4 venues. ABC3 was closed.

I get a Text from APB to check out ABC venue, and decide to hit that up instead of ABC4.

Meet with Apex.

Get there around 9:30pm, still closed. Come back at 10pm.

AGCameo comes by.

Stand in line till 11:10pm. AGCameo left by 10:45pm. It was mad cold too.

Inside, on patio, 2 set: HB8 azn girl + white friend.

I sit nex to her, shoulder turn. I comment on her ring how she’s all blinged out. Polite smile. I stack forward, start talking about the venue. Then try cold reading her. I was 0:6. I accuse her of being weird because I can’t guess anything about her.

Me getting the cold reads wrong is slowly getting her to smile, but she doesn’t invest. She’d turn to her friend every few min.

I make her guess about me, she half asses it. I branch to different threads.

We’re talking 10+ min and she hasn’t left yet, but I’m getting bored.

Apex occupies the other girl, and my azn girl is still turning to her friend every few min. I get bored and eject.

Go inside, see 2 HOT azn girls, probably FOBS, but whatever, APB is like GOOO. I don’t go cuz they were headed to the dancefloor.

See 2 set: white girl + azn girl. The white girl is being talked to by some guy and the azn girl is being ignored.

I go direct.

Sight: Hey, you’re kinda cute!!!!
[BLP, BLP, BLP … mini isolation]
HB: hey, thank you [extends her hand]

name drop, I do the silencer, she leans in.

Her white friend starts pulling her away from me. She looks me up and down, and physically pulls her azn girl away from me. I try to befriend, she gives me the fingers semi-playfully, and I eject.

Go outside. Hear two azn HB6s talking about how one of them saw some people in philipeans preaching jesus on the streets.

Sight: [hand on shoulder] hey, nooo way, you don’t look philippino
HB: Yes, I am.
Sight: what, nooo, you totally don’t look philipinoo.
HB2: something something
Sight: [to HB2] you’re definately not philippino

she wasn’t. Turns out HB1 was fucking with me. She was Chinese.

I hook both of them. I thought bough liked me. I get Apex in. We had trouble figuring out who the troublemake was.

Sight: [to Apex, pointing at HB1] this one knows martial arts, but she’s not the troublemaker. [at HB2] this one though, is another story.

Some BLP was confused, and I still didn’t isolate. I eject to talk with APB. I end up # closing HB1. Apex bounces them both to the dancefloor. They both invite me, but I don’t go. I texted HB1 after the club, she replied fast with something like “lets do this again sometime”

I’m talking w/ APB and this HBshort-hair-big-boobs is looking at us. She ends up standing near us. I do the Sexual Chocolate - jacked from APB opener, and intro APB. He goes direct. She’s lights up. and is like “but my bf is right here”. Turns away. Then turns back to us. haha.

Apex leaves towards 1am.

APB and I are on the patio. There’s an azn girl + white girl being talked to by 1 guy. I decide to wait it out. They all end up going inside.

I sit down next to a group of chicks. hand on shoulder

Sight: hey do you know that guy?
HB: what guy?
Sight: they guy that just leaned over to talk to your friends?
HB: no, my friends may know him, but I don’t.
Sight: Ohh, cuz I was talking to this azn girl and this guy came over and totally hugged her, and I was like duuudeee, come ooonnn. [trying to proof myself]
HB: No, I don’t … blah blah

Cold read where she’s from. Wrong read, she laughs. APB said she was leaning in and it was going well. I missed her leaning in. It felt like a friendly convo.

Sometime before that, we’re on the patio. Two white girls are passing is. I stop the cutter one. Step in front of her. Hands on her shoulders.

Sight: Hey.
HB: Hi
Sight: why are you leaving? don’t go [I think tha’ts what I said. Maybe it was just “what’s up”]
something something.
Sight: after you’re done come back and meet me.
HB: ok!

She never does.

Go back inside. See the two FOB girls from before. I go direct on the first one. They’re walking past me.

Sight: [hands out, step in front of her] Hey, you’re cute! what’s up.
HB: [she extends her hand, but gives me that language barrier vibe, she doesn’t say anything but smiles more than necessary]

I shake her hand, say something. They keep walking. Her friend who is also HOT!! extends her hand, I put my hands on her waist, She’s holding on to my hand, and almost leads me to the floor with her, but I let her hand go. There was probably something there.

I later see the FOB1 being talked to by an azn guy, and he pulls her around by her hand.

APB and I are walking, some girl turns around from the bar, I smile, she smiles, she turns back.

APB: go, that was an IOI.
Sight: but, but
APB: …

I stand next to her, hand on shoulder

Sight: hey, you’re cute.
HB: thank you
Sight: ……….
HB: [is looking back at the bar]
Sight: you’re waiting for your drinks.
HB: ya.
Sight: …. I got nothing.
HB: ….

and that was that.
