By joining this exclusive club, I pledge to approach and compliment one beautiful woman every day for the next 30 days and post the results- both good and bad- for my fellow brothers to see. Walked around the mall looking for a girl to approach. I found about 3 that I simply couldn't get myself to go up to. I considered going for the clerks, but decided to reserve that for a really, really shitty day or a day where I didn't have much time. So after about 2 hours, on the 4th girl I found to be ridiculously hot, waited about 10 seconds and then went for it.

Martyr - Hi, you are ridiculously hot, I had to come say hi to you
Girl - Thank you. (Looks at her phone)

I got too in my head with the 2 hours of pacing around. I did get around to it, so I'm glad and relieved. The goal is to take less time every time to approach.

I normally don't approach in the mall, I went there because I knew I would be able to spot a hot girl. Does anyone have pointers they can post about it? Thanks.

This worked for me once in the past when I was really rusty and had a lot of trouble approaching: Just look at the girl and just think to yourself how fucking hot she is and how badly you would love to just meet her. You'll never see her again and there's a good chance she'll just gush at your compliment.

Other than that, as someone that's done a bit of direct day game, whenever I haven't gone out in a while (due to crappy motivation) and had to get back out there, it's hard to do even one approach and I need to build myself up by doing 1 the first day, 2 the second, etc. and just really push myself.

You did fucking great, there have been times I've gone out and just walked around for hours and ended up not having done a single approach.

Anyway I'll take up your offer as 'big brother' If you need someone to keep you in check/motivate you I'm looking for someone to motivate as well.

Man thats great. Malls can be hella tough. I can't say I get great success there but I notice the more I do it the less I care.

I think the mindset that helps a lot is 1) Your never gonna see her again so you got nothing to lose
2) What the hell, lets see what happens.

Also normally after I say the direct opener.
I normally put out my hand.
TANK: Hi my name is tank. Whats yours.

TANK: I'll just talk to you for a few seconds and then I'm on my way. Where you heading...

Then I might go into a routine like telling her a story about buying a gift and i need some help

The whole time I'm trying to ether segue way into her sitting down with me and talking or I'll say lets get some coffees etc.

Theres still a high rate of rejection especially at Arcadia mall where I try it but if anybody else has a diffrent way of doing it I'd love another way.

I went through a phase a couple of years ago of trying ultra-direct compliment openers. Kamikaze if you like. My experience was, yes they would usually gush, open up, pupils dilate if it is said with enough force...BUT BUT BUT

The issue was always: What then? No one could ever give me a half way decent answer, but you seem to have a method of following up which at least half way works for you.

I decided to go to the mall during my lunch break, so that anything I did after work would be extra credit. Go to the mall during lunch, when the only people there are old ladies. Did spot 1 or 2 girls I could have approached, but it was tough. About 30-40 minutes later, I see this petite brunette who was hot as hell. AA hits, I tell myself, it's okay, I dont have to approach, I can do it after work. Gather myself, and then I walked up to her (like 5 minutes after I saw her, yes, I was vulturing)

Approached a bunch of girls last night with direct openers (my default at a bar/lounge). Some of them stuck, some of them didn't. I've decided that I am only going to count the ones I don't eject in from now on.
