By joining this honorable club, I shall pledge to approach and compliment one beautiful women per day. I will post the results here and on my blog to be followed. I expect that shit will happen. But I will not let that deter me. I will make an @ss of myself. But, the end result is what I am interested in. 3,2,1 ....GOO!!!!

Approach # 1

Walked around campus. Saw an attractive blond sitting by herself.
Me: I just had to come over and tell you, you look awesome today.
HB: Smiles, thank you.
Me: What's your name.
HB: HB
ME: I am AJ. What are you up to
HB: Nothing. Just working on things. I am a TA.
ME: Cool. I just got out of a workshop about applying to be a TA next summer. (I said something along the lines of that. I am para-phrasing here.
HB: Said something along the lines of cool. I forget
ME: It was nice meeting you but I gotta get going.

things I did well:
Cold approached for the very FIRST time on campus. I was trying to do it yesterday but I chickened out.
Genuinely complimented someone.
Defeated my ego
Told my inner voice to shut up

BONUS APPROACH AND a day 2


I can't believe what happened. Basically, in the dining hall, my best friend who is also an AFC, was talking to me. I was telling him about the ABC model and whatnot. He seemed interested but I decided to show him that it's possible. So, believe it or not, I cold approached a lone wolf HB black.
Me: I just had to come over and tell you, that you have an amazing scarf
Her: Thank you. Smiles
Me: so whats you name
Her: HB black.
Me: kool. What year are you? (hint being in college makes the C step a peace of a cake lol)
Her:Sophomore
Me: Kool. I am a junior. so do you like basketball (I assumed that lol)
Her: yeah
Me: Koll. there is a basketball game this weekend. Our college has a chance to make it to NCAA
Her: yeah I might go there
Me: why don't you come with me
Her: Sure
Me: Here let me get your number. I get her number. O wait, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is AJ.
Turns out she already knew me from some other time
I come back to my friend whose jaw is on the floor. He thinks I am already this great pua. Meanwhile, it was my first number close off a cold approach. But, since I had to show him it was possible, I could NOT fuck up lol . Otherwise, he would have just laughed it off. Not only that, he thinks that the pick up community is some sort of cult. So, in order to break my friend's barrier, I had to be confident. I had to be smooth. I had to do the walk of Khan. lol
Anyways Thank you APB for making this possible. I will continue to work and improve myself.
Things I did well:

AA gone gone and GONE... when you are confident there is NO AA.

Showed my friend how it's done... the pressure made me perform like I never had before. Of course I can't use that as a crutch and I have to do it alone as well.
Things I could have done better:
Slowed down. Half speed dude lol
I can't think of anything else here, maybe have a condom on hand

I have to congratulate you on being a role model and inspiring someone. Most people that try to get friends into the community just talk about it but you went out there and proved it.


When you put your balls on the line and commit to it, that's when you get the really good moments/paradigm shifts/A-HA moments.

I'm genuinely impressed, a # close on your second cold approach. It probably took me at least 2 weeks of going out to get that far.

From what it sounds like you're doing pretty stellar so far, the only thing I'd recommend is going for 5 sets a day. I sort of find pick up like working out, it takes me a set or two to warm up, and the more I get into state, the more confident I become and the more adept I become socially.

I bet if you tried a few more sets after that # close, you could you gotten AT LEAST another #. Perhaps a same day pull? Haha

Anyhow, good stuff, stellar progress, at this rate, you'll be at Mystery's level in about 2 weeks.

Day 3
today was bit of a nervous day
first approach
HB blond walking by on cellphone while wearing a blue hoody
Me: you look adorable today
Her: Thank you

Approach # 2
In the dining hall, there was this Korean girl (8.5) sitting with two fobby guys. The guys looked really dorky and I thought to myself whats the worse that could happen
Me: I had to come over and tell you that you look adorable today (Hoping to God that she speaks English)... she does
Her: Thank you (smiling)
Me: Walked away

Today I was feeling a bit of AA and it took a lot for me to approach these sets. That's also why I ejected early and did not push the interaction further....

Day 4
Today was a bit of a meh/blah day
I cold approached a blonde who was talking to her friend. As I approached her, her friend was actually departing but she was in the middle of departing so she heard what I said o well.
Me: I just had to tell you. That yellow hoodie looks awesome on you
Her: Aww..... she had a really cute voice
Me (extending my hand) : My name is acebingo
Her: I am HB
and then I ejected. For some reason, I am ejecting way too early. Probably cuz of AA.

Kinda bonus approach
As I was walking towards a library, some random girl approaches me and hands me the flyer for some party.
Her : We are having this party at blah blah blah. One of those party promoter chicks.
ME: (totally made this up) Before you approached me, I was going to come up to you and say you have nice sneakers. She did (some golden nikes)
Her: Thanks.
Me: Are there going to be a lot of girls at that party? (just being playful)
Her: Yeah
Me: Kool. If I come, I am going to hit on all of them including you
Her: Do that.
End of story there

Approaching girls other than blondes/White girls... for some reason I feel that if I approach an Asian girl she will do some kung fu on me or something lol. That is my one obstacle, will be dealt with in due time. Because most girls on my campus are Asians/international.... so eventually I will have to approach them.

Day 5
Walked over to a girl in the library. She was using one of the computers. I walked over to her and said I just wanted to come over and tell you that you look cute today. She was initially a bit taken back, but said thank you and smiled.

It seems as if I am reluctant to get rejected, because that might deter my progress.
The same thing happened late at night. I was talking to a couple of girls that I met at a social event. We talked for a long time but instead of me number closing them, I went to my room and told my friend (who is a beginner) to get their number. Although it helped in the sense that I helped my best friend number close off a cold approach for the first time.... I should be doing it as well. In addition to that, bad logistics (it was past midnight after I finished with my social event) plus my reluctance to go out alone prevented me from going out. But I will work on those things.
